This policy covers managemy.buzz (the web app) and its companion Chrome extension, “Add Contact to managemy.buzz.”
When you click the extension’s icon on a LinkedIn profile page, it reads publicly visible fields from that page — name, job title, company, location, and the profile URL — directly in your browser. Nothing is scraped unless you click the icon yourself.
The extension opens a new tab to your own managemy.buzz account with those fields pre-filled on the Add Contact form. You review and choose whether to save it — the extension itself never writes to your CRM or any database, and the captured fields are not sent to us, to LinkedIn, or to any third party. They exist only in that one browser tab, as part of the URL used to pre-fill the form.
The extension stores a few settings in your Chrome profile: your CRM base URL and, if you’ve set one up, your extension API key (via Chrome’s built-in storage.sync, which Google syncs across your own signed-in Chrome instances) — and, separately, the vertical position of the on-page “+ Add contact” button if you’ve dragged it (via storage.local, kept only on that device). None of this is visible to us or to any other party — it’s stored the same way any Chrome extension setting is.
Separately, the managemy.buzz web app stores whatever contacts, tracks, and outreach data you add or connect (e.g. Gmail for outreach). That data is used only to provide the service to you, is never sold, and is only shared with third parties where necessary to run the product (e.g. our hosting and email-sending providers).
You can remove the extension at any time from chrome://extensions, which deletes its locally stored settings. You can delete contacts or your account from within managemy.buzz at any time.
